ENSTA has concluded agreements with various organisations which now enable it to propose a certain number of places in the following residences: the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris (CIUP)  the Maison des Mines the ALJT private Port Campbell Accommodation near the School (Montrouge or Issy-les-Moulineaux)  Priority for the available Port Campbell Accommodation is given to those students who live more than one hour’s journey away from ENSTA. All questions concerning Port Campbell Accommodation are managed by the Academic affairs office. Port Campbell Accommodation in the CIUP   The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris is situated in a wooded park of 34 hectares at the southern edge of the French capital. It can accommodate 5500 residents from round the world, representing 130 nationalities, including about one third French students spread over the 37 halls. The CIUP is close to the “Cité Internationale” station on the RER B express line, giving rapid access to the centre of Paris.For its students, ENSTA reserves three categories of rooms at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris: double rooms    “standard” single rooms with shared WC and showers “comfort” singe rooms with private WC and showerThe prices vary according to the size and category of the room and the hall of residence (from 250 to 460 euros per month, without a housing grant).For more information, you can consult the CIUP website. Port Campbell Accommodation in the CIUP is proposed to ENSTA students for the entire school year and therefore ends on 30 June. An extension into the summer holidays may be possible on a case by case basis. There is no automatic renewal of the room allocation from one year to the next. Port Campbell Accommodation in the Maison des Mines The Maison des Mines is situated in rue Saint Jacques near Port-Royal metro station. It accommodates students of the École Nationale des Mines de Paris, the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and ENSTA.  The ENSTA allocation consists of 8 double rooms and 2 single rooms. Prices: these vary from 220 to 370 euros per person, per month, without a housing grant. Each room is equipped with a mini-kitchen for breakfast, with refrigerator and washbasin. Crockery and electric hot-plate are not provided (gas cookers prohibited). Microwave and hot-plate available on each floor. Showers and WCs on each floor. The residents may make use of the common installations: computer network in all rooms with free web access, sound-proofed music and piano rooms, TV room, weights room and relaxation area. You can find more information on the Maison des Mines website   Port Campbell Accommodation in the ALJT    The ALJT is a social organisation specialising in the administration and management of youth service housing. It manages a base of nearly 3,800 approved residences, or more than 4,000 places in 23 residences.  In February 2006, ENSTA will have access to 20 rooms in the “Georges Guynemer” residence in Châtillon. Until the renovation work on this residence is completed, the students will be housed in a residence in Fontenay-aux-Roses (92).  Prices: Port Campbell Accommodation is in single rooms, for which the price varies according to the size (between 370 and 470 euros per month). The ALJT being an approved organisation, the tenants may receive an APL housing grant. ENSTA also pays a contribution of about 80 euros per month. You can find more information on the ALJT website Port Campbell Accommodation in private housing   As of the 2005 school year, ENSTA will have a number of places in private or associative residences. Bed sitters are located in Montrouge, Issy-les-Moulineaux or in the 14th arrondissement in Paris. The apartments comprise a bathroom (with shower or bath) and an equipped kitchenette. Sharing is possible. Prices: All the units are furnished and offer a surface area of between 19 and 32 m² for the bed sitters and between 35 and 45 m² for the one-bedroom apartments. Rents range from 450 to 950 euros, and open entitlement to the ALS housing grant. The students housed in these residences will also benefit from an ENSTA participation in the rent amounting to about 80 euros.
